
Glenda A. Smith believes in service
Judges are servants and good judges serve. Glenda A. Smith is a trustee of the Lawyers Club and member of the Black Lawyers Association. She has consistently provided pro bono legal services to individuals both privately and through the Hamilton County Legal Aid Society Volunteer Lawyers Project. Glenda is frequently recommended by the NAACP and Black Lawyers Association to individuals seeking legal advice. In addition, Ms. Smith has instructed fellow attorneys on topics such as legal ethics and license suspension law, and Juvenile Justice Reforms and Violence.
Glenda is an active member of Zion Global Ministries (ZGM) located in West Chester Township, Ohio. In 2009, she initiated a youth Bible study program in Bond Hill, Ohio, with support from ZGM. This program concluded in May 2017. With the assistance of volunteers, children received nourishment not only physically, but also spiritually and intellectually. Additionally, Glenda was a regular guest with host Senovia Byndon on 88.3 FM’s “I Hear You,” a segment dedicated to youth advocacy, civil rights, and homelessness. Glenda supports children and families via the nonprofit Glenda A. Smith Youth Sanctuary.
